Concerning the RECLIMA Initiative
The goal of the Climate Resilience and Water Security in Angola (RECLIMA) project is to increase community resilience to the effects of climate change, reduce the danger of drought and flooding, and improve Angola's ability to manage its water resources sustainably. RECLIMA actively supports Angola's National Adaptation Plan and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by enhancing water infrastructure and management systems.
Future water supply projects in the southern areas, especially in the drought-prone provinces of Cunene, Namibe, and Huila, will be scientifically supported by the hydrogeological studies conducted under VisionRI's direction.
With its headquarters in India, VisionRI is a multidisciplinary consulting organisation with a focus on development planning, water resources, environmental management, and sustainable infrastructure. Through collaboration with multilateral development institutions, including the World Bank, ADB, and AfDB, the company has carried out projects throughout Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
This new agreement highlights India's contribution to Africa's efforts to improve water and climate resilience and strengthens VisionRI's expanding global reach.
